Nathalie Hoyer makes soul, gospel, R&B,
bossa nova, funk and a tiny little bit of
Gifted with a warm, soulful voice and an impressive charisma, Nathalie has been studying vocal jazz at the Conservatory of Mainz, Germany, taking lessons with Prof. Jesse Milliner, Alexander Gelhausen, and Manfred Billmann, among others. Twice in a row she won the international jazz- and pop vocal contest of Finsterwalde (2017 & 2019) and the special award for cultur in Brandenburg in 2019.
Accompanying her work as a singer, Nathalie is an avid composer, arranger and known as vocal coach and leader of choirs and vocal ensembles. Her compositions have been decorated with both the Special Award of the SWR1 Christmas Contest and the renowned Regional Newcomer Composition Award of the Palatine region.
Her current project is her jazz quartet, where she is accompanied by her beloved colleagues Lukas Moriz on the piano, Axel Pape on drums and Bastian Weinig on the upright bass.
